On the men's side Josh Peck won the HAAC Outdoor Track Field Athlete of the Week and sprinter Dayshawn Berndt won the HAAC Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.
Baker also won both women's awards, as Stephanie Nelson won the HAAC Outdoor Field Award and Jillian Benson was awarded the HAAC Outdoor Track weekly honor.
Peck claimed a pair of top-three finishes for the Wildcats at the season-opening Southwestern College Invitational. The freshman from Kiamath Falls, Ore., took second-place in the discus with a throw of 49.85m and took third in the hammer throw at 43.43m.
Berndt made his season debut at Southwestern with a first-place finish in the men's 400-meter dash in a time of 49.66, while finishing fourth in the 200m in a time of 22.56m.
Nelson opened the outdoor season with a victory in the javelin with a throw of 42.92m and tossed the discus 38.15m for a fourth-place finish.
Benson was victorious in her first collegiate outdoor event, as the freshman won the 10,000m race with a time of 40:21.87.
The Wildcats will next compete on Mar. 29 at the Pittsburg State University Wendy's Invitational.
