Peck shined for Baker as he hit the A standard to qualify for the 2016 NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships in the weight throw, with his throw of 16.75m.

He finished in second place out of 16 total competitors. Finishing ahead of several athletes from NCAA Division I schools including University of Kansas, Texas Southern and UMKC. Weight throw winner Alex Lybarger of Tulsa finished in first place with a throw of 17.41m.
