Track Performs Well at Concordia Classic

Josh Peck finished 10th in the weight throw over the weekend

SEWARD, Neb. The Baker University men's and women's indoor track and field team competed in the 2015 Concordia (Neb.) Classic on Friday and Saturday inside the Bulldog Fieldhouse in Seward, Neb.

Some highlights for the Wildcats include Kendall Holloman who hit the NAIA A standard in the pole vault on Saturday with a mark of 3.48m. She tied for fourth-place out of 29 vaulters.

Baker also finished third and fifth in the women's 200-meter dash, as Tyler Sloan took third in a time of 26.32 and Billi Pipes was fifth in a time of 26.44.

Sloan also captured first place in the women's 60-meter hurdles in a time of 8.85 tying the Bulldog Fieldhouse record set in 2012.

On the men's side, Jamie Steury took seventh place in the 3,000 meter run in a time of 9:07, while Joe Linder finished in third place in the 5,000 meter run in a time of 16:11.
