Gathright becomes an All-American with his championship run in the 400, but he also finished as the NAIA National runner-up in the men's triple jump with his second-place jump of 15.20, just behind Briar Cliff's Augustus Cowan.
The Oceanside, Calif., native earned his third NAIA All-America honor in the men's long jump as well with his eighth-place finish mark of 6.97 meters.
Senior Aaron Caldwell also earned All-America status with his 4th-place finish in the men's marathon. He finished the 26.2-mile race in a time of 2:30.18.
Tyler Sloan had an outstanding national meet as well with her third-place finish in the women's 100-meter hurdles and earned All-America honors. She also took third in the women's 400-meter hurdles in a time of 1:00.67.
The Kansas City, Kan., native earned her third All-America honor when she joined teammates Diamond Griffith, Khadijah Lane and Lauren Allen-Brown in the women's 4x100 meter relays and took fifth as a team in a time of 46.87.
Senior Lauren Breithaupt also took home an All-America honor with her sixth-place finish in the women's 5,000-meter race walk competition in a time of 27:31.91.
Kayla Hannam took eighth in the women's triple jump and earned All-America status with a jump of 11.68-meters.
The four Wildcats who earned NAIA All-America status after day one on Thursday at the NAIA National Championships were, defending NAIA National champion Stephanie Nelson with a second-place finish in the Javelin with a throw of 47.22.
Teammate Katelyn Wolken took seventh-place in the Javelin with a throw of 41.77, and Cody Viergever took sixth-place in the men's Javelin competition with a throw of 56.39.
For the second straight year Baker's Katie Thurbon took second in the Pole Vault and finished as the national runner-up with her mark of 3.55m.
