Senior Ashley Riniker shined for Baker, as she took on the women’s javelin portion of the mee and threw a toss of 39.42m hitting the NAIA B standard qualifying her for the NAIA Outdoor track & field national championships.
Greg Henning also performed well with his second place finish in the men’s long jump, while senior Jesse Austin had a personal best in the men’s hammer throw with his throw of 48.64m, good for 8th place.
Birdsong Warren took home third-place in the men’s 400m dash, while he along with Jesse Matthews, Tyler Randall and DayShawn Berndt helped the men’s 4x400m relay team finish third behind two NCAA Division II schools.
Baker will next host the 75th Annual Baker Relays at Liston Stadium on Saturday, Apr. 2 beginning at 10 a.m.
