Track Program to Host 75th Annual Baker Relays on Saturday

BU will host the 75th Annual Baker Relays on Saturday at Liston Stadium

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The Baker University men’s & women’s track & field programs will host the 75th Annual Baker Relays this Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. inside Liston Stadium.

This years event will feature one of the largest fields in recent history, competing in this years event is Baker University, Benedictine College, Central Methodist, Haskell Indian Nations University, John Brown University, University of Dallas, Graceland University, MidAmerica Nazarene University, Ottawa, Kansas Wesleyan and Avila.

The field will consist of over 700 entries and over 400 athletes.

“I have been a part of the Baker Relays for well over a decade as a coach here at Baker, as well as an opposing coach,” said Baker University Director of track & field and cross country, Tim Byers. “This is one of my favorite meets and its an honor to carry on the rich tradition. We are excited at the number of teams and participants. The talent level is incredible and we look forward to competing with the best!”
