Jaqua Named HAAC Runner of the Week

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. For the fourth time this season, Baker University senior runner Lauren Jaqua was named the Heart of America Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week, announced Monday.

The Wildcat speedster ran in the NAIA Mid-States Classic along with her teammates over the weekend in Winfield, Kan.

The Lansing, Kan., native took fifth place in a time of 17:57 and broke her own school record and helped lead the Wildcats to a third-place finish out of 29 teams.

The Wildcats will next take on the HAAC Championship meet on Saturday, Nov. 9 in Marshall, Mo., hosted by Missouri Valley College.
