Under head coach Tim Byers, the Wildcats signed Stephen Deveau and Daniel Rivera both of Junction City High School.

Deveau will run with the cross country program, but also hopes to help the track team in the 1,500 meter race, the steeplechase and the 5,000 meter.

Rivera is talented in a multitude of distance events and was an All-League runner for the Blue Jays. He was also involved in the band at Junction City and will major in Biology at Baker.

Deveau chose Baker over Ottawa, Kansas Wesleyan and Hutchinson Community College and will major in Exercise Science. He earned All-League and All-State honors at Junction City.
